Overview

Electric Charge Guide is an independent informational website. The current site does not require an account and does not sell installation services or installer leads.

Calculator inputs

The home-charging calculator runs in your browser. The application does not send the values you choose to an Electric Charge Guide account or quote database.

Contact by email

The contact form opens your own email application with a draft message. The website does not submit that form to an Electric Charge Guide server. If you choose to send the email, we receive the information contained in that email and may use it to answer your message or review a correction.

Hosting and standard request data

Like other websites, the hosting and network services used to deliver this site necessarily process technical request information such as an IP address, browser/request headers and requested URL. Electric Charge Guide does not claim that this infrastructure is anonymous, and retention or security practices may be governed by the relevant service provider.

Current analytics and advertising status

The current application does not contain an active Google AdSense ad unit and does not intentionally set advertising or analytics cookies. The site may publish static AdSense ownership-verification metadata and an ads.txt publisher record; those verification mechanisms do not by themselves load an ad unit or set advertising cookies. If analytics or advertising technology is enabled later, the privacy/cookie disclosure and any legally required consent controls should be updated to match the deployed implementation before that technology is relied on.

Our guides link to manufacturers, government agencies, retailers and other third parties. Those sites have their own privacy practices. Opening an external link is subject to the destination site's policies.

Your choices

You can choose not to send an email through the contact link. You can also use browser privacy controls for storage, cookies and third-party websites. If you have sent us an email and want to ask about that correspondence, contact [email protected].

Children

The publication is intended for adults making home-charging decisions. It does not offer child-directed accounts or services.

Policy changes

If the site's data practices materially change, this page should be revised to describe the current implementation rather than a planned feature.
