- A price shown on the site is no longer correct.
- A manufacturer specification has changed.
- An incentive, rebate or provider program has expired or changed.
- A source link is broken or no longer supports the claim.
- A calculator assumption is misleading, unclear or internally inconsistent.
- You found another factual error that could change a reader's decision.
What happens to a correction
We check the controlling source before changing a factual claim. If a correction materially changes the page, the page's update date may change to the real date of that substantive correction. Cosmetic edits do not receive artificial freshness dates.
